New Mono Houses
This is where our future Mono Houses take shape. Some projects start with an empty plot, others with a neglected house full of potential. What they all have in common is our ambition to create homes with lasting character, inspired by Greek architecture and built or restored with exceptional care.
What makes a Mono House?
We miss houses in Greece that connect to it’s beautiful surroundings and it’s history in architecture. It’s not about remaking the old. But inspired by history, local craftsmanship and modern design we want to build houses that tells a story from day one. Compact, sustainable, with modern comfort, with character and personality.

We love the old captain’s house, the old farms, and we use it as an inspiration for the design. Never to copy or remake. We combine local craftsmanship that has been around for decades with modern design.
All Mono Houses will come with detailed interior finishings; built-in wardrobes, a mediterranean kitchen and calm and light bathrooms.
Optional: we can offer a complete furnishing and decoration service as well.

Quality, durability and good workmanship are key to a house that will need little maintenance and repairs. You want your house in Greece to be without worry.

The outdoor is as important as the indoor. Our designs will always have more than one shaded terrace, an outdoor shower, a compact pool if it fits the location and lights all over the garden.
The garden or terraces will be designed with draught resistant planting. We work with experts in this field to help us make a unique garden that blends in the surroundings and does not need a lot of water.

A Mono House will be a turn key house. Together with the local teams we handle design, permitting, construction, landscape design and interior.
